Christmas Day

            It’s so cold outside there. Jung Kook has persuaded Ha Neul to stay inside, but his child-like girlfriend whine at him and asked him to play outside with her.

          “Han, it’s cold outside. You can freeze out there.”

          “No!! Look!! It’s snow fall. I want to play out there. Let’s go out for a walk. I promise, we will back before 10 p.m. It’s not a heavy snow fall anyway.” Ha Neul trying to persuade Jung Kook. Honestly, Jung Kook wants to play out there too, but Park Ji Min, Ha Neul’s brother wouldn’t never allow him to bring Ha Neul out there.

          “Han, if your brother allows it, I would bring you out since ago…”

          “But I want to go for walk… It must be pretty at N Seoul Tower…” Ha Neul mumbled at herself, staring at outside. Jung Kook sighs. Its 5 p.m. It’s not too late to bring Ha Neul to N Seoul Tower or Han River to watch the fireworks.

          “Wait there.” Jung Kook goes toward Ji Min who is captivated by some television channel at living room.

          “Sorry, but can I take Ha Neul to Han River or N Seoul Tower to watch the fireworks?” asked Jung Kook, Ji Min who is not pay attention earlier, he glare at Jung Kook now, with his horrifying gaze.

          “What?! You know, she is very sensitive at cold. And its 5 degree right now. You want to kill her?” asked Ji Min.

          “No, it’s not like that. She wants to go for a walk poorly. I promise to bring her back before 10 p.m. and I’ll not let her feel cold.” Ji Min just shuts his mouth. Yeah, he wants to allow his beloved sister to go out with her boyfriend at this Christmas night, but what if there is something bad happens at her?

          “…”

          “How? Do you allow her to go out? Please, I beg you. I’ll protect her…” Jung Kook begged at Ji Min. Ji Min sighs.

          “Okay, just bring her home before 10 p.m. I’ll trust you.”

          “Oh, thank you!!!!”

          “It’s snow!!”

          Jung Kook lift his corner of his mouth slightly, when he see Ha Neul walks cheerfully in front of him.

          “So, what did Ji Min says?” asked Ha Neul. She turns around and looking at Jung Kook.

          “He said that we should home before 10 p.m.”

          “Is that true? But I want to play more…”

          He warns Ha Neul about not to walking backside.

          “Really? But… Ouch!!!” It’s fortunate. If Jung Kook didn’t grab her hand, she would fell on cold snow.

          “I warned you…” Jung Kook whispered.

          “Okay, okay. Come on. We should go before they launch the fireworks!!!” Ha Neul grabs Jung Kook’s hand and drag him along.

          “Okay, I can walk by myself!!”

          “It was amazing!! They were blasted in the night sky and…”

          They are sitting in the café, enjoyed their Americano.

          “Your coffee will be cold.”

          “Ah, yeah. Almost forgot about this” Ha Neul drinks it. But she spilled it a little on her sweater.

          “What a child.” Jung Kook gives his handkerchief.

          “Use this to clean your lips.”

          “Thanks. And where will we go after this?” asked Ha Neul. Jung Kook gives a glance on his wristwatch and shakes his head.

          “It’s 9.30 p.m. We should home before 10, remember?”

          “Already? You have no fun. Can we ignores Ji Min’s warn?” asked Ha Neul.

          “No, I’ve made a promise with him already. I can’t disappoint him. He was believed in me. We should go home now. Wear this.” Jung Kook removes his scarf from his neck and gives it to Ha Neul.

          “How about you?” asked Ha Neul, there’s nothing on Jung Kook’s neck, he must be cold.

          “I’m okay, you can wear this…” Ha Neul wants to give back the scarf, but Jung Kook holds her.

          “I’m okay. If I wear that, your brother may kill me and mocking me as unmannered boy…” Jung Kook grumbled. Ha Neul just smiles and wear Jung Kook’s scarf tightly. Feel Jung Kook’s scent immersed on her nose.

          “Sorry, I must be made everything difficult on you…”

          “What are you talking about? No!! You never made something difficult on me…” Jung Kook tries to comfort Ha Neul.

          “Okay, if that so. Let’s spend a snow day inside for next time.” Ha Neul hugs Jung Kook’s left arm.

          “We’re arrived.” Ha Neul loosen her hugs from Jung Kook’s arm.

          “10 p.m. Your brother must be worried.”

          “See you tomorrow. Thank you for today.” Ha Neul gives Jung Kook’s scarf back and turns around but Jung Kook calls her again.

          “Han, wait!”

          “What?”

          Jung Kook pulls another scarf from his coat’s pocket and put it around Ha Neul’s neck.

          “What is this?” asked Ha Neul.

          “It’s your Christmas gift. Treat it well.” Jung Kook gives Ha Neul a kiss on her cheek.

          “Good night.”
