Yeah,
it’s the first spring without Jung Kook. Finally, she can complete her
evaluation task peacefully, because there is no Jung Kook who’s kept asks the
answers of all the questions to her. But she has to acknowledge that she is
lonely without all of Jung Kook’s disturbances.
“What
are you doing here alone?” asked Ye In. Ha Neul is sitting in the bench at the
garden when he was approached by Ye In.
“Nothing…”
Ha Neul is playing with a bright-yellow flower in her hand.
“Are
you lonely?” asked Ye In.
“No.
What are you talking about?”
“You
can’t lie to me. I see it clearly. Honestly, you miss Jung Kook, right?” asked
Ye In once again, annoying Ha Neul a little bit.
“It’s
not true. I pray for a days like this since long ago. Finally, I can complete
my task peacefully.” Ha Neul smiles. She pushes away the fact that she is
missed Jung Kook.
“What
a fool girl. I know that you miss Jung Kook. It’s okay; I’ll never say this
fact to the other.” Ye In pick a flower on her right side. The silence is
floating in the air. Ye In is busy with her flower, meanwhile Ha Neul is busy
with her mind.
“He
can’t even say English perfectly. How can he get a scholarship to Japan? I can
speak English better than him obviously.” Ha Neul was mumbled to herself. But
Ye In heard it and smiles at Ha Neul.
“Are
you envious at him or miss him?” asked Ye In. Ha Neul shut her mouth.
“Maybe
the both…” Ha Neul mumbled again, but unfortunately, Ye In isn’t heard it.
“And
you know? It’s not necessary to speak English perfectly at Japan. By the way,
the Japanese majority can’t speak English. You have to used Japanese, not
English…” said Ye In. Hm… maybe Jung Kook is better at Japanese a little bit
than Ha Neul.
“Inna…”
“I
was said this already, right? Stop calling me with that childish nickname. I
didn’t call you ‘Han’ anymore.”
“But
‘Inna’ is more comfortable to me. Ji Min and Jung Kook called me ‘Han’ too.
There’s no problem about that.”
“Oh,
whatever.” Ye In picks more flowers up. She is making a flower crown right now.
“Ye
In…”
“What?”
“I
miss Jung Kook…” said Ha Neul. Ye In stopped her hand movement.
“I
knew it already. You have to restrain yourself. He just had gone about 7 months
ago. There are 5 months left.”
“Maybe

Meanwhile
Ye In has completed her flower crown and put it on Ha Neul’s head.

Ji
Min is invading Ha Neul’s room when she is taking a nap. He jumps on her bed

“Wake
up now!!!! Jung Kook on the phone!!!!!!!!!” Ji Min shouted on her ears, makes
her very surprised of course. Not only about the fact that Jung Kook on the
phone, but Ji Min was make her ears in pain.
“Is
it true?!”
“Yeah!!
I was surprised too. He wants to speak with you. I’ll wait downstairs, and WAKE
UP NOW, silly girl!!!” Ji Min went out from her room. Ha Neul wakes from her
bed and go to bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth.
“What
made you so slow??” asked Ji Min. He handed over the phone, Ha Neul’s hands
trembling without her knowing. Yeah, she
got a first call from her boyfriend since 7 months. Ha Neul want to go to
veranda, so Ji Min can’t hear their conversation, but Ji Min gives a signal
that Ha Neul can stay at living room while he will go inside his room.
“Hi
girl. How are you?” asked Jung Kook. Ha Neul just keep silent.
“Han,
are you there?” asked him once again. Ha Neul just mumbles.
“I
am study in Higashi High School. I have to stay here for a year. There are 7
months left. I thought I’ll be really missed my Mom here, but really I almost didn’t
missed my Mom here. It doesn’t make any sense, right? But trust me, it’s true!!”
“…Cookie…”
“Why?”
asked Jung Kook.
“Nothing.
I just want to call you.” Ha Neul said it faintly.
“Hey,
what’s happen to you? Are you sick?” asked Jung Kook worried.
“No,
maybe because this is a cross-country phone connection, I can’t hear your voice
clearly too.” said Ha Neul. No, she’s a liar. She can hear Jung Kook’s voice
clearly. It melted on her ears.
“Oh,
really? Maybe you’re right. Ah and yeah, I want to tell you that I rode a
Ferris Wheels 2 times since I got here. It must be fun if I can ride it with
you… Oh, oh, and wait, I ever taste a Japanese tea. But Han, it was really
bitter. It doesn’t have a sweet flavor at all, like you were said to me before.
I almost spitted it out…” Jung Kook told his experience in Japan at these 5
months to her like a child. Ha Neul just smiles.
“You
don’t miss me?” asked Ha Neul.

It must be fun. I hope I can taste a Japanese tea, and ride a Ferris Wheels
every day.”
“But
Han, the Japanese tea is really bitter. I bet you’ll spit it out automatically
when the tea touches your lips.” Jung Kook teased Ha Neul.
“Cookie,
you can’t just said that simply. You know, I’m good at hold in something like
that. I’ll never spit it out. By the way, it’s an expensive tea, no matter how
bitter it is.”
“Yeah,
maybe you can come here and taste it by yourself!!!” Ha Neul laughs when she
heard that Jung Kook is upset.
“You
are cute even when you’re upset. What did you eat? How can you still cute when
you were angry?” asked Ha Neul.

you are pissing me off once again~~~~~~” Jung Kook whines. But it just cute to
Ha Neul.
“Okay,
okay, I’m sorry… And what’s next? Do you ride the train too? They said they
have a fastest train in the world. Is that true?” asked Ha Neul. It’s become an
all-night phone session, unknowingly…

Ji Min wakes Ha Neul up from living room once again. Maybe he is just shouts

jumps off from her deep sleep. Her ears are hurt.
“Ji
Min, your shout has hurt my ears…” Ha Neul grumbles.
“Definitely

didn’t take it, maybe it’ll make your ear deaf.” said Ji Min. Now the one who
is grumbling is Ji Min.
“Really?
How about Jung Kook?” asked Ha Neul.
“Don’t

hand. And I told him that you’re fallen asleep. He understood it and turns the
connection off.”
“It’s

“But
are you okay? Your ears are quite reddened. Is it really hurt?” asked Ji Min.
“No,

The
most boring and annoying day of week, the answer is Monday. Because the school
wouldn’t let them home before 5 p.m. and they forced the students to join the
extra class which will ended at 10 p.m. What a frustrating rules.
“What
should I do? Big Bang is going to hold a concert at 7 p.m.” Ye In knocking her
shoes around, frustrated.
“It’s
okay; you can pass the extra class, and go to their concert. Bing Bag or
whatever what is their name…” Ha Neul reads a comic that she lent from her
classmate.
“It’s
Big Bang!! And they may kill me if they found that I passed the extra class…”
“If
that so, you have to attend the extra class and forgot about go to your Idol’s
concert.” said Ha Neul calmly.
“Are
you joke?! It’s so hard to get this ticket!!!” Ye In shouted out load. It must
be an advantage for Ha Neul for not being like on certain idol.

“Jung
Kook is on line.”
Yeah,
after the last phone, Jung Kook phones her a lot, at least once on a week. But
the one who does receive his call is always Ji Min.
“You
call me again…?”
“Because
I miss you, silly girl.” said Jung Kook. Makes Ha Neul’s cheeks blush.
“4
months remaining. You will greet me in airport, right?” asked Jung Kook. Huh? 4
months remaining? Hm, the time is flying fast. Ha Neul checks the calendar. It
is June. So, Jung Kook will be arrived at South Korea on October. Hopes there
will be no extra class on that date, so she can go to airport to pick Jung Kook
up. Maybe the holiday is better.
“Maybe…”
“What
do you mean?! You won’t go to airport???” asked Jung Kook.
“Yeah,
I have to attend the extra class. I bet you didn’t have to go to extra class.
You have goes to Japan, so why do you attend the extra class???”
“Uh…
what a pity. I want you as the first person I see when I arrived in South
Korea…”
“Hahaha!!!
What are you talking about? Are you going to close your eyes until I say ‘Hi Cookie,
it’s me, Han. You can open your eyes now’.”
“Hm…
that a good idea!”
“You
must be crazy.” There is just a silence for a moment.

it in calendar.
“Hope
you’ll back soon. At the 100th petal, you should have back.” Ha Neul
mumbled.

the 1st petal to the 60th petal, everything is going all
right. Ye In has a new boyfriend named Jun Hoe. They go on date often. Hm, maybe
she has forgotten Big Bang…
“Big
Bang is going to hold a concert at 7th August.” Ye In mumbled
herself, when they are sitting on the bench at garden. Ha Neul on her right
side, making a flower crown. By the way, Ye in had teaches Ha Neul how to make
a flower crown before.
“Don’t
you have to book a ticket early? Didn’t you said that is so difficult to get
the ticket?” said Ha Neul. Ye In shakes her head.
“No!
I have a date with Jun Hoe on that day. I’ll just go date with him instead of
go to Big Bang’s concert.” said Ye In, making her own flower crown.
“What?
You are going to abandoned your Big Bang?!” asked Ha Neul amazed. It’s not like
Ye In whose she knew.
“No!
I don’t abandon my Big Bang. I just put them aside. Maybe it’s time to me to
wake up. There is Jun Hoe in front of me, why should I choose to pay so much
amount of money in order to see G-Dragon?” asked Ye In. And Jun Hoe is walking
toward them anyway, or precisely, walking toward Ye In.
“What
are you doing here?” asked Jun Hoe.
“Yeah,
just accompany the lonely Ha Neul. You know how lonely she is since Jung Kook
went to Japan?” asked Ye In. Jun Hoe laughs. Ha Neul sullen.
“Okay,
I’ll see you later, guys…!” Ha Neul stand up and go to classroom.
“Okay,

“By
the way, the crown is suited on you. You look beautiful.”

Neul will stick a 78th petal when Ji Min is sneaking away and
surprised Ha Neul.
“Surprised
me!! Why should you sneaked away like that?!” asked Ha Neul. Ji Min just
laughs. He looks happy when his plan in surprised his sister is success.
“Give
me that. I’ll stick it for you from now on.” Ji Min took the flower petal from
Ha Neul’s hand.
“By
the way, there will be a long holiday, right?” asked Ji Min.
“Yeah,
you’re right. There will be an End Summer holiday around 2 weeks.”
“It
must be fun…” Ji Min sticks the flower petal on the calendar.
“Well,
why should you help me to stick a petal? I can do it by myself.” Ha Neul
straighten Ji Min’s work and put the glue properly on the desk.
“No,
you can’t do it alone. You’ll need my help.” said Ji Min. He makes his sister
sit properly on the couch and takes something out from his pocket.
“It’s

“Really?!”
Ha Neul is really surprised right now. It is a ticket to Japan, and her
passport.
“Of
course. 2 weeks will be not fun if you spend it alone. Go to Japan, spend your
holiday with Cookie, and pick him up at there instead of pick him up from
airport...” Ji Min didn’t finish his sentence yet, but Ha Neul hugs him so
tight.
“Thank
you!!!”
“Yeah
it’s not a big deal to get the ticket for you…”

must be happy!!!!” Ye In shouted out load when Ha Neul told them about her plans
on holiday.
“Can
you pass him my greeting?” asked Jun Hoe.
“Of

it’s not necessary for you to do that…” Ye In blushed.
“It’s

“When
will you go?” asked Jun Hoe.
“At
the first day of holiday, and I’ll be back 10 days later with him.” said Ha

Aunt Mika will be picked you up from the airport.” said Ji Min. Uncle Jung is
Mom’s older brother. Ha Neul nods her head.
“I’ll
miss you during upcoming 2 weeks.” Ji Min hugs his little sister. Well, she is
not little anymore. She has grown up.
“Come

airplane will be departed at 7 p.m. Ji Min, Ye In and Jun Hoe take her together
to the airport. And she has to go when her flight is being announced.
“Be
careful.” Jun Hoe shaking Ha Neul’s hand. She just nods her head.
“We’ll
pick you two at airport in 2 weeks.” Ye In hugs Ha Neul and pat her back.
“Are you okay
to go by yourself?” asked Ji Min. Ha Neul laughs.
“Well, you
should’ve bought 2 tickets, so we can go together. Uncle Jung and Aunt Mika
must be happy to see you. You said it was easy to get a ticket for me, so it
must be easy to get a ticket more.” said Ha Neul. She knew that Ji Min was lied
to her. It’s not easy to get a ticket for her when he must go to university
every day.
“We’re here
already. I don’t have a chance to not to go.” Ha Neul hugged Ji Min and walks
away from them.
“We’ll back

is beautiful. This is autumn. So it’s so beautiful to see a momiji leaves changes its color along
the pathway.
“It’s
so beautiful, isn’t it?” asked Hiroshi, Aunt Mika’s son. Ha Neul nods her head.
She was arrived yesterday. Today is September 1st, Jung Kook’s
birthday. Ha Neul want to surprise Jung Kook. Hiroshi and Michiko, Hiroshi’s
little sister who is in the second-year middle school was helped her to make a
simple cake for Jung Kook.
“Did you say that your boyfriend is study at Higashi
High School?” asked Hiroshi amazedly. Ha Neul nods her head.
“I am study at Higashi High School too.” said Hiroshi.
Well, he is a year younger than Ha Neul. Hiroshi is the first-year student.
“So, do you know Jeon Jung Kook, the student from
South Korea?” asked Ha Neul. Hiroshi nods his head.
“Of course I do. He is good at sport. Our basketball’s
leader wants to recruit him as our club’s member, but unfortunately, he just
stay for a year. Your boyfriend is a great student.” Hiroshi is explaining.
“I can take you there tomorrow. The second-year and
the third-year student have an extra class for tomorrow.”
So, after eat
the lunch, Hiroshi takes her to Higashi High School.
“We have to
ride a train to get there. Don’t worry; Higashi High School is near from the
station. You can go play with him, and you can ask him to take you to the
station then I’ll pick you up.” said Hiroshi with good English.
“Thank you
very much. You are so good at English.” said Ha Neul.
“Mom’s called
an English teacher for us to our home every Saturday. It has an effect, Mom’s
right.”

can wait him here.” Hiroshi takes Ha Neul to the bench under the tree. They can
see the Higashi’s gate clearly from here.

yeah, and I almost forgot to ask for your phone number.” said Ha Neul.

“Are
you okay? Should I accompany you here ‘till he comes out?” asked Hiroshi.

So,
here is she, sitting down in the bench under the tree, waiting for Jung Kook.
The wind blows. It’s not cold for her, although she just wears a short dress.
Then, she hears a bell ringing. Not long after that, there are bunch of student
walk out.
Her
smile is blooms when she saw someone familiar. She is stand up and calls him.
“Jeon
Jung Kook!!” although her voice is not loud, but he can hears her. Their eyes
meet.
“Jeon
Jung Kook!!” she called him louder. Jung Kook, he is so surprised. He doesn’t
believe that his girl is standing at there, under the tree, with pretty shoes,
pretty dress, and pretty smile as usual. Then he is realized that is true. A
smile blooms in his lips.
“Park
Ha Neul!!!” he runs and hugs Ha Neul.
“I
don’t believe this. Is that you, Han?” asked Jung Kook. Ha Neul nods her head
and Jung Kook hugs her once again.
“What
are you doing here??” asked Jung Kook.
“Happy
Birthday!!!” Ha Neul approaches Jung Kook and kiss his lips.

They
are sitting on the bench, under the tree.
“What
is this?” asked Jung Kook. Ha Neul opens the basket and takes out the cake that
she made with Michiko and Hiroshi last night.
“And
for the present…”
“…
I gave it to you already…” Ha Neul’s cheeks blushing.
“…
Thank you for the gift. It’s the best gift ever.” said Jung Kook.
“…
Or, should I give it again?” asked Ha Neul. Jung Kook smiles and nods his head.
“Yeah!
Just do it once again.”
“…
A-are you … meant it…?” asked Ha Neul. Jung Kook laughs.
“You
shouldn’t do it again. I’ll treasure your gift…”
The awkwardness is floating in the air.
“…
How’s the cake? Are you like it?” asked Ha Neul, pushed away all of the
awkwardness.
“It
tasted good. Where did you buy it? Which bakery?” asked Jung Kook, he can’t let
off the spoon from his hand.
“Really?
That’s relief. Well, I wouldn’t tell you. It’s secret.”
“Why~~~
It’s a good cake. I’ll buy it when I’m here, everyday…” said Jung Kook. Ha Neul
just laughing. And when she is push and pulling Jung Kook, the wind blows once
again. Several leaves fell from its branch and scatter on the street.
“Oh.
Look!!” Jung Kook shouted. They raise their head and looking at the leaves on
the tree.
“It’s
so beautiful, isn’t?” said Jung Kook. Ha Neul nods their head. The green leaves
are turned their color into brown.
“Just
like you who’s appeared in front of my eyes all of sudden…” Jung Kook kisses Ha
Neul’s pink lips once again…
